Project: Portable Generator Transfer Switch

Location: Morton Grove, IL

The homeowners purchased a portable generator to provide electricity to essential circuit in their home during power outages. We installed a manual transfer switch that allows the homeowners to safely transfer power from the utility company to the portable generator. We worked with them to identify the circuits that they could safely power within the limitations of their generator. Once the equipment was installed, we tested the system and trained the homeowners on its safe operation.
